Ruby red classicAgua de Jamaica (Hibiscus Agua Fresca)
A jewel-red hibiscus agua fresca with tart floral flavor, fresh lime, and just enough sweetness to balance the pitcher.
Agua de Jamaica is a classic Mexican hibiscus drink with a deep ruby color and a bright, cranberry-like tang. Jugeroβs version keeps the flavor focused on dried hibiscus, lime, and a measured amount of sugar. Brew the flowers like a strong infusion, then dilute and chill for a refreshing pitcher.
For the clearest flavor
Steep the hibiscus for 10 minutes, then taste before extending the brew; a very long steep can make the drink more tannic. Serve well chilled over ice.
