Soda-shop joyShirley Temple Mocktail
Jugero’s cherry-lime Shirley Temple pairs sparkling lemon-lime soda with fresh citrus and a quick pomegranate-cherry syrup.
This Shirley Temple mocktail keeps the nostalgic cherry-red look and gives it a fresh Jugero finish. A quick pomegranate syrup gets its cherry note from tart cherry juice, then orange and lime balance the sweetness. Top each glass with cold lemon-lime soda right before serving to keep the bubbles lively.
Make the syrup ahead
The recipe makes extra pomegranate-cherry syrup. Refrigerate the leftover syrup in a sealed jar and use it in sparkling water or another zero-proof drink within one week.
Make it yours.
Little tweaks, your kind of delicious.
Blend until silky; strain if you like.
Top with chilled sparkling water just before serving.

- Remove from the heat, stir in the tart cherry juice, and cool completely. The syrup recipe makes extra; refrigerate the unused portion in a sealed jar.
- In a pitcher, stir together the measured prepared syrup, orange juice, and lime juice. Add the chilled lemon-lime soda just before serving.
- Divide the ice among serving glasses, pour in the Shirley Temple, and garnish each with a cherry and orange slice.
